The Adirondack Council is happy to welcome a new addition to our hard working and dedicated staff team. Dana Mancini began work in early December as one of the Adirondack Council's Clarence Petty Interns. Dana will be working in our Albany Office during the upcoming legislative session.

An expanded High Peaks Wilderness will protect forests and waters that serve as home to diverse wildlife, and enhance opportunities for solitude.

The Adirondack Council is taking part in the 2015 International Acid Rain Conference being held this week in Rochester. This once-every-five-years event, that has never been held in New York before, is looking at ways to better protect sensitive areas like the Adirondack Park from acid rain.
