Adirondack Council's Forever Wild Day - 2009

Saturday, July 11, 2009
Adirondack Council's Forever Wild Day
The Woods Inn
Inlet, NY

Join us for the Adirondack Council's Forever Wild Day as we celebrate recent conservation successes in the Adirondack Park. In addition to the Annual Membership Meeting, we invite you to our Awards Lunch when we honor the Conservationist of the Year, a prestigious award presented to an individual or group who has made special contributions to the future of the Adirondack Park. The Adirondack Nature Conservancy will receive this honor for protecting over half a million acres of land in the Adirondack Park since 1971. We will also hear from guest speaker Brad Gentry, Co-Director of the Center for Business and the Environment at Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.

You'll learn about the Adirondack Council's accomplishments, current challenges and plans for the future, and enjoy the company of other individuals that care deeply about the Adirondack Park. Plan to come for the day to explore the hamlet of Inlet or enjoy canoeing, kayaking, hiking, bird watching, biking, climbing or just relaxing.
