Acousticade Music Festival Moves to Saratoga Springs
Producer Steve Williams Donates the Performances of Two Legendary Acts to Skidmore College

Saratoga Springs, NY, April 4, 2008 - Acousticade, a music festival originally scheduled to take
place at the Glens Falls Civic Center this weekend, April 4th and 5th, has been downsized due to a lack of community interest. A limited number of performances will move to Filene Recital Hall at Skidmore College in nearby Saratoga Springs, NY. The changes were made in an effort to fulfill Producer, Steve Williams’ goals of providing a legendary acoustic music performance.
“Skidmore College administration and students expressed a great interest in the talents that we
assembled.” said Williams. “Their appreciation for the hard-work of my team assured me that the loss assumed by the lack of ticket sales could serve a greater good.”

Acousticade acts Duncan Sheik and Odetta will be integrated into previously programmed
activities. Duncan Sheik will perform as part of an AIDS benefit event which was coincidentally
created by a student inspired by Sheik’s Tony Award winning musical, Spring Awakening.
Odetta’s performance will follow the classical piano recital of a graduating senior.
